The Love of God Church is an addition to an existing church located in the Gateway Urban Renewal district in Portland, Oregon.

The expansion will include a 6,500 square-foot sanctuary addition, a 1,200 square-foot bookstore, and an enlarged lobby / entry area to accomodate the growth of the congregation.

The building has been designed for a potential future vertical expansion of up to five stories.

The project is located in the “Gateway Design District.” Building design is focused on making a connection between the structure and the pedestrian activities.
