Livermore Associates provided building design services for the Toray Composites (America) TCA-4 expansion in Tacoma, Washington. The approximately 45,000 square foot expansion provides space for an additional production line. Office space, lunchroom and locker room facilities are also included in the expansion.

The building structure at the production area production area expansion consists of steel framing with a metal-clad insulated wall panel exterior skin. Tilt-up concrete construction is utilized at the office expansion area. Equipment foundations and pits are included in the expansion.

Approximate cost of building construction improvements is $6,500,000. The expansion increases the total building area to approximately 150,000 square feet.
